Mean, Lean & Green Smoothie Recipe
We have all heard of an energizing green smoothie recipe to help motivate us on those early work mornings, where we seem to be balancing more activities than we have fingers and toes for. This smoothie recipe is one-of-a-kind, and requires minimal ingredients for maximum energy and good vibes.
It is important to make use of all the resources at your disposal, which is why my green smoothie consists of six simple ingredients, of which most can be consumed on their own and used in many other drink preparations. Starting with a ¾ cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, half a banana, and half a green apple, the sweet and creamy flavors are
already releasing a comforting aroma to get you moving on your feet for the day. Everyone has a sweet tooth, but also the desire to be healthy, which is why these naturally sweetened fruits are great ingredients for this smoothie.
It is advised to follow these ingredients with a handful of spinach. However, kale is another alternative for our kale lovers, as both kale and spinach are common power foods in green smoothies to give you natural energy in the morning. The kale and spinach ingredient is
followed by a ⅓ cup or 4 medium slices of cucumber, as well as a tablespoon of hemp seeds.
